“Thurgood Marshall’s Coming!” is a dramatic and folksy play about the first African American Supreme Court Justice. The play chronicles the life of Marshall from his early days to old age with language that is direct yet inoffensive. His mastery of the law and storytelling come to life as his legacy in the fight for civil rights unfolds. An inspiring and informative play for adults and children of all ages.

A Song for Coretta

"A Song for Coretta" takes place on February 6, 2006 while people began lining up outside of Ebenezer Baptist Church to pay their respect to the late Coretta Scott King, whose body lay in state in the sanctuary. As the day unfolds, people of all ages stood patiently and at times during the rain waiting to say goodbye. They share memories of Mrs. King’s extraordinary life and expressed sorrow over her passing. The five characters in the play are at the end of the long line of mourners.

Louie and Ophelia

"Louie and Ophelia" is an African American love story by Gus Edwards. A dramatic play that reveals in harmonic detail the relationship between a middle age couple. They meet, fall in love and gradually realize the closer they become, the more they see how opposite they are. This is a must see play that explores the challenges of love and the reality of relationships.
